Samiat, originally hailing from Lagos, Nigeria, is a dedicated graduate assistant contributing to the success of the Nebraska Business Development Center’s SourceLink Nebraska program. With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of entrepreneurship, Samiat spearheads the curation of an extensive calendar of events centered around business and entrepreneurship, drawing from a wide array of resource partners. Beyond event coordination, Samiat adeptly oversees the profiling and tracking of resource partner information, ensuring that data remains accurate and up-to-date.
Before joining SourceLink Nebraska, Samiat distinguished herself academically, earning a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Development Studies from Kwara State University. She brings to the table a wealth of experience in supply chain and logistics within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, further enhancing her comprehensive understanding of business operations.
In her pursuit of excellence, Samiat is currently immersed in a rigorous MBA program at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, further honing her expertise in the realms of business development and entrepreneurship.
