Grand Island Public Library

Public libraries are learning centers that provide information for residents to meet their personal, educational, and professional needs, including access to print materials, internet, and technology. A makerspace is available to create and learn.

Use of the Makerspace is currently by appointment only. Please call the library at (308) 385-5333 or use the online booking form above to request an appointment. 

There is no cost to use our Makerspace however there is a cost for supplies used.  

The library does not sell supplies for individual sale, they are meant for ease of convenience when utilizing the Makerspace. Patrons are welcome to bring their own materials when using the machines.

Patrons using the Makerspace and its equipment must be in 6th grade or older, unless attending a library-sponsored program.

Children under the age of 11 are not permitted in the Makerspace with adults using the equipment.   

The library offers programs in our Makerspace for kids, teens, and adults; call the library for more information or check out our online calendar for upcoming events!
