About
The UNL Center for Entrepreneurship has been serving the University of Nebraska community for over 30 years. The Center is uniquely situated within the University community to help students, faculty, and staff develop new businesses.
Our position allows us to face both outward and inward, interacting in significant and impactful ways with the community at large, and across the UNL campus.
Central to the mission of the Center is the provision of five core services to the university and greater community: teaching; coworking; mentorship and outreach; student programs and competitions; and research. In concert, these service pillars support our mission to provide exceptional educational opportunities to help students, faculty and staff think entrepreneurially, turn ideas into action, and create, manage and grow successful businesses.
With the resources, faculty and collaboration available at Nebraska, you will collaborate, innovate, research and contribute to successful ventures on day one. Whether all you have is an idea or your business is well underway, the Center for Entrepreneurship offers mentorships, workshops, competition and funding opportunities to help you grow.
Entrepreneurship Courses
Whether you are a first-year student or a business professional, you can benefit from entrepreneurship courses offered at every level. Experience theory and practice in and out of the classroom with respected faculty and successful business owners.
Competitions and Events
At Nebraska, you can raise capital for your idea, startup or existing business through student competitions and other funding opportunities. Competitions vary from elevator pitches and business plan competitions to events promoting creativity and collaboration.
