Grand Island Public Library’s Makerspace is a collaborative learning environment with a variety of equipment and resources where the focus is to create, invent, tinker, explore, and discover. The Makerspace is one of several learning centers within the Library that furthers the mission of lifetime learning and literacy.
The library offers several rooms for the use of nonprofit organizations. Call the library at (308) 385-5333 for more information or to book a room.
Meeting Room A
Maximum Capacity: 15
This room is equipped with a projector.
Meeting Room B or C
Maximum Capacity: 56
Meeting Room C is equipped with a projector.
Meeting Room BC
Rooms B and C combined. Maximum Capacity: 112
This room is equipped with a projector.
Digital Media Lab
Maximum Capacity: 25
This room is equipped with a projector. No food is allowed in this room. Drinks with a lid are allowed.
If your group does not meet the criteria to book one of our meeting rooms, we do offer first-come, first-served MeetUp areas in our new Meeting Commons (front lobby area), and first-come, first-served study rooms.
