Farm and Ranch Project – Legal Aid of Nebraska

Legal Aid of Nebraska’s Farm and Ranch Project offers free services to individuals and families throughout rural Nebraska, with a particular (though not exclusive) emphasis on agriculture.

Legal Aid of Nebraska, Interchurch Ministries and the Rural Response Council, with other supporters, maintain the Rural Response Hotline. The Hotline started during the farm crisis in the 1980’s and has remained in existence. It is the longest, continuously running farm hotline in the nation.

Our Farm and Ranch Project strives to put reliable information and services into the hands of farm and ranch families. Financial, legal and counseling services and referrals are available. The type of assistance we provide depends upon your situation, the issue involved and Legal Aid’s resources. Our services are free to those who qualify.
