Center for Economic Education – Wayne State College
The Nebraska Council on Economic Education supports five Centers for Economic Education throughout the state. These centers work closely with and partner with educators in their regions to provide world-class economic and financial literacy education programs to K-12 students here in Nebraska.
About
The mission of the Wayne State College center for Economic Education is to promote a better understanding of economics and our economic system. We are a resource for schools, ESU units, and adult groups throughout Northeast Nebraska.
The Wayne State center has hosted workshops and teleconferences on various methods of infusing economics into the K-12 curriculum, provided pre-service teacher training, offered graduate courses on Economic Education for teachers, and Stock Market Game training.
