Nebraska Agricultural Trade Office – Nebraska Department of Agriculture
About
The mission of the Nebraska Agricultural Trade Office is to assist in the promotion of sales of Nebraska agricultural products and related goods to new and existing international markets. Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts understands the vital role agricultural exports play in Nebraska’s economy, and under his leadership and that of Nebraska Agriculture Director Steve Wellman, we conduct a variety of activities with the ultimate goal of connecting interested buyers with sellers of our state’s world-class agricultural products.
Our international promotion endeavors are conducted in cooperation with a wide variety of partners including USDA Foreign Ag Service staff, private agricultural producers and companies, the U.S.’s international embassies, state industry groups, national and international trade associations, and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Our office is able to utilize our network of contacts to put potential buyers in touch with a variety of suitable sellers of agricultural products.
Whether you are a Nebraska company or producer looking to learn more about exporting or an international firm interested in Nebraska’s wide variety of high quality agricultural products please feel free to contact our office.
