About
Industry Relations connects the resources of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) with the private sector, with a focus on facilitating and advancing UNL’s research collaborations and partnerships with companies.
Industry Relations works with companies of all sizes, representing all sectors and geographies, to access UNL resources, including, but not limited to: faculty expertise for R&D; specialized equipment and labs for testing and technical services; and undergraduate and graduate student talent. We can be your point of contact for an array of UNL-industry engagements and will guide you through the processes and policies associated with specific projects and collaborative arrangements, including sponsored research, contracts and agreements, co-location or locating at Nebraska Innovation Campus (NIC), student design and capstone projects, instrumentation and lab use, and professional development opportunities, such as executive education and short-courses.
Industry Relations, likewise, works with faculty, staff and leadership across all UNL colleges and administrative units to support their interactions with industry, and to build internal UNL capacity and programming to engage with industry across the spectrum of UNL’s tripartite land grant mission of teaching, research and service. We are co-located on Nebraska Innovation Campus (NIC) with NUtech Ventures—UNL’s licensing and IP management group—and Nebraska Innovation Campus Development Corporation—the 501 C3 non-profit corporation which administers NIC—to provide coordinated engagements between your company, UNL and NIC.
