Choose Healthy Here retailer support program – Nebraska Extension partners with community members and local businesses to help increase access to fresh, affordable, nutritious foods while building community demand and providing nutrition education.

About

Choose Healthy Here uses research-based strategies to help stores buy, stock, and sell fresh nutritious foods. The program provides beautiful, eye-catching marketing designs, outreach, and in-store programming such as food demos, taste tests and store tours. We’ve worked with grocery stores, convenience stores and specialty/ethnic stores. Choose Healthy Here materials are in English and Spanish. This program is available in most areas that have Extension staff. Funding may be available for some stores and activities.
