As the SourceLink Nebraska Network Navigator, Jamie Bright connects entrepreneurs and businesses with resources to support growth and expansion. She is driven to connect entrepreneurs with valuable resources to start and operate their businesses. Jamie is a talented professional networker and has demonstrated success making connections needed for the Nebraska business community.
Jamie has a personal connection to the entrepreneurship process in Nebraska. Jamie owned a small bookstore and coffee shop in a rural community located in the Nebraska Panhandle for five years and currently assists her husband with management aspects of his agricultural machinery repair business in her free time. This experience lends a unique perspective for SourceLink Nebraska service delivery.
In addition to Jamie’s entrepreneurship experience, she possesses substantial knowledge in research, marketing, training, and grant writing from working in the insurance industry, public libraries, and the nonprofit sector.
Jamie is currently working towards a Master of Applied Science degree in Community Development through the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Jamie’s focus of study is rural revitalization through entrepreneurship and participative leadership. Jamie is a member of the Nebraska Business Development Center (NBDC) located within the University of Nebraska at Omaha College of Business Administration. Jamie represents SourceLink Nebraska from the Western Nebraska community of Kimball.
