We build a network of volunteer attorneys across the state. These attorneys offer free legal assistance to victims of state-declared disasters.

National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) - Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
The Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 established NIOSH as a research agency focused on the study of worker safety and health, and empowering employers and workers to create safe and healthy workplaces.
The Nebraska Business Development Center (NBDC) is a department of the College of Business Administration at the University of Nebraska at Omaha with offices in Omaha, Lincoln, Wayne, Norfolk, Grand Island, Kearney, North Platte, McCook, Scottsbluff and Chadron. Our partners throughout the State include the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, the University of Nebraska at Kearney, Wayne State College and Chadron State College.

Nebraska Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) works to reduce the vulnerabilities of the people and communities of Nebraska to damage, injury and loss of life and property resulting from natural, technological or man-made disasters and emergencies. NEMA coordinates the response to large-scale events, such as a tornado, flood or wildfire, and ensures effective response and recovery.
Nebraska LTAP is a center within Nebraska Extension that provides training, events, technical assistance and resources to state and local government transportation agencies, consultants and contractors across Nebraska.

With the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, Congress created the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to ensure safe and healthful working conditions for workers by setting and enforcing standards and by providing training, outreach, education and assistance.
